It’s not a very difficult thing to do, and it can end up making your house look very nice indeed. A color scheme is not, as some people seem to think, the same color used throughout. It is rather a scheme of colors, complementary to each other, that evokes the kind of emotions, or feelings that you wish for each room.

Take, for example, your living room. If you happen to live in colder climes, you might want to make your living room look warm and inviting. And the easiest way to do that is by applying a warm, earthen tone to the room. A combination of the correct earthen shades could give the room a warm, inviting glow.
